Auditions

After a quiet start to 2021, I have had fun with five different auditions (including one callback!) in the past couple of weeks, for a diverse array of roles (a Hollywood Executive, a British Lord, an Old Lewd Man and a Tone Deaf Businessman). You know, when I look at

Santa Claus is coming to town!

Actually, a more accurate headline might have been “Rob Hunt is coming to Santa Claus!” I am thrilled to be playing this iconic elf in an online sketch show. Now, I just have to remember which of the reindeer has a red nose.

Another Web series!

I had great fun recording a few scenes for an upcoming episode of the Night Night Show. This is a fun, funny web series on YouTube and definitely worth checking out. You can find it here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRiLlngtS2MUkLvNjyVoA8w

Trillo & Suede

I am thrilled to announce that I have been cast in the role of the enigmatic Dr. Lochinkop in season two of Trillo & Suede! This should be a fun supporting role – I love the show! Continuing Education

I started a new class this evening with Matthew Porretta at MN Acting Studio. It’s been a while since I have been in a classroom setting such as this and I can’t wait to find out what the next few weeks will bring!

Rehearsal

Dial A For Agatha

I am thrilled to be appearing as Chief Inspector Mandrake in the world premiere of David Toth’s play: Dial A For Agatha. This parody of the classic British murder mystery will be performed three times as part of The 2020 New York Theater Festival’s Winterfest. If you want to know

Talent

One thing I have learned over the past year of auditions and work is just how many amazingly talented actors there are out there. I never cease to be amazed by these individuals’ ability, professionalism and discipline; I only hope to be that good one day.

Parenting

As part of my crazy November (one “play in a day” plus five film/tv shoots), I am off to NYC today to portray a dad who is completely out of touch with his daughter. If you ask my three sons, they’ll tell you this shouldn’t be too much of a
